Race For The Baltic Foundation (Insamlingsstiftelse) is proud to welcome Henrik Österblom (left in photo) as a new Board Member and Peter Wiwen-Nilsson (right in photo) as CEO while former CEO Barbara Jackson continues her engagement as Board Member.

Henrik is currently Associate Professor and Deputy Science Director at Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm University, and his research focuses on globalization and marine social-ecological systems, in particular how fisheries and marine ecosystems are managed.

Peter comes from the private sector where he has broad experience with several CEO and management positions. Most recently he has worked as a Fund Manager and CEO at Brunswick Real Estate. Previous roles include deputy CEO at Elite Hotels of Sweden, CEO at ORTIC. As CEO, Peter will lead Race For The Baltic’s strategy and programmes moving forward.

“With Peter’s extensive CEO experience from the private sector and Henrik’s expertise within resilience research related to marine ecosystems, they are strong additions to our organisation.
