Race For The Baltic’s 2017 Year in Review report is now available.
2017 was a milestone year for the oceans and for Race For The Baltic!
The first United Nations conference dedicated to ocean issues took place in New York in June. Around the same time Race For The Baltic completed the pilot edition of its flagship programme, the Baltic Sea City Accelerator (BSCA).
During 2017 Race For The Baltic was involved in a number of strategic projects that are designed to help reverse the decline of the Baltic Sea while capturing social and economic benefits for communities throughout the region.
Furthermore, Race For The Baltic formally became a foundation under Swedish law in 2017, so that we are now better structured to provide support, share, and scale the projects it champions.
