Bringing together the business and science communities is a prerequisite for tackling environmental challenges and to move forward towards a sustainable future. Race For The Baltic provides a platform to catalyse cross-sectoral interactions, with the aim to support synergies and collaboration amongst stakeholders work.

On 17th October 2017, Race For The Baltic hosted its first partner Meetup Event, a gathering of thinkers, doers and change makers who are working to make a sustainable and prosperous Baltic Sea Region.

Race For The Baltic Meetup offers the opportunity for networking and discussions, keeping partners up-to-date on the latest projects, as well as research and funding opportunities. A vast array of work was presented at the Meetup, focusing on improving the environmental state of the Baltic Sea and local waters, as well as expanding the network and diversity of stakeholders that can play a role.
We are happy to see so many participants willing to collaborate in restoring the Baltic Sea and also new actors wanting to join the forces.

We want to thank BCG for hosting us and all participants for joining the meetup!
