City Accelerator: Next event is around the corner!

The City Accelerator Club is hosting an event in Stockholm from April 25-27, focusing on accelerating solutions against eutrophication in municipalities and protecting the Baltic Sea. Featuring diverse speakers and sessions on topics such as stormwater planning and funding opportunities. Eleven municipalities coming from Estonia, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden will get valuable insights and networking opportunities for municipalities. Contact Julia Gerlach at julia@raceforthebaltic.com for more information.

We are excited to announce that the next event of the City Accelerator Club is just around the corner, and it will be held in Stockholm from April 25-27. This event promises to be a unique opportunity to learn how to accelerate solutions against eutrophication in municipalities, exchange knowledge and project experiences, and meet other passionate individuals working to protect the Baltic Sea.

Over the course of these three days, we will have a diverse set of speakers presenting on topics ranging from the Municipalities own projects, internal load, stormwater planning and management, and funding and loan opportunities. We are thrilled to have several experts joining us to share their expertise and knowledge.

To give you a taste of what to expect, on April 26, we will have a session on stormwater management where we will hear from Anna Carina Ericson, a former Catchment Officer on stormwater planning and eutrophication, Gunaratna Kuttuva Rajarao, a Researcher and Professor at KTH, and Joydeep Dutta, the Chair of Functional Material at The Water Center, KTH. This will be followed by an excursion to Norra Djurgårdsstaden, where we will learn about their urban stormwater planning.

We have carefully curated the program to ensure that it is engaging, informative, and fun. We will also provide opportunities for networking and meeting like-minded individuals to discuss how we can protect the Baltic Sea together.

As always, our purpose is to accelerate solutions against eutrophication in the Baltic Sea, and we are confident that this event will take us one step closer to achieving our goal. We encourage municipalities interested in joining our network to reach out to Julia Gerlach at julia@raceforthebaltic.com for more information.

We hope to see you in Stockholm!
