Roundtable marking the conclusion of the Port Project

During the second quarter of 2024, we wrapped up our Port Project by organising a significant event “port roundtable” — a meeting focused on developing the Best Practices and Technologies Catalogue for the transshipment of dry bulk goods (particularly fertilizers and phosphates). Additionally, in June, we attended the largest maritime conference in Poland, “Congress Polish Ports 2030,” in Sopot. In May, we also travelled to Klaipeda to meet with port and terminal representatives. Furthermore, we made significant progress with the prevention covers.

Roundtable Event
An event held on May 7 in Gdansk marked the end of our Port Project. It focused on developing the Best Practices and Technologies Catalogue for the transshipment of dry bulk goods (particularly fertilizers and phosphates). The event gathered representatives from many Polish port authorities, port terminals, maritime offices, captaincies, the Baltic Ports Organization (BPO), and industry media. The event sparked many interesting discussions, which allowed us to reach joint conclusions included in the final version of the Catalogue. We are now taking steps to implement this Catalogue in all Polish seaports.

Congress Polish Ports 2030
On June 10-11, 2024, we participated in the largest maritime conference in Poland, held in Sopot. The event attracted many representatives of the Polish maritime industry. There were numerous interesting presentations and discussion panels. Our Business Manager, Kamil Jagodziński, participated in the discussion panel: "Environmental, Social, Governance in Ports, Terminals, and Shipping," where he presented how our Port Project activities and solutions align with Corporate Social Responsibility principles.

Klaipeda Port Visit
In May, we visited Klaipeda Port. We met with a representative from the Environment Protection Department of Klaipeda Port Authorities to discuss the results of our Polish dry bulk roundtable and potential projects. We also visited one of the largest terminals in Klaipeda Port – Klasco where we met with the management to discuss dry bulk handling solutions and potential future collaboration.

Prevention Covers Progress
In the second quarter of 2024, we made significant progress with the design of prevention covers. All the designs for our main partners in Szczecin and Police are now complete, and we are moving to the production phase. We plan to have the covers ready in the third quarter of 2024.
